Praveen Gupta, MSEE is a corporate executive and thought leader in excellence and innovation management for achieving profitable growth through Six Sigma, process excellence, business innovation, and performance measurements. He has led the development of innovation science since 2003. Mr. Gupta has published in many magazines and has authored many books on Six Sigma and innovation, including Business Innovation in the 21st Century and The Innovation Solution. He was the founding editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Innovation Science. Mr. Gupta has taught innovation classes at the University of Illinois and Illinois Institute of Technology. He is also the founding director of the Center for Innovation Science and Applications (CISA) at IIT Chicago. Mr. Gupta has recently relocated to Silicon Valley while continuing his research interest and contributions through CISA.

Brett E. Trusko, Ph.D., MBA, is an assistant professor at Texas A&M University, where he is also the director of the Health LINKS innovation lab, a 4000-ft2 innovation center located in the world-famous Texas Medical Center. He is the president and CEO of the nonprofit International Association of Innovation Professionals (www.IAOIP.org), a global innovation standards development and certification organization. Dr. Trusko is the coauthor of Improving Healthcare Quality and Cost with Six Sigma and the current editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Innovation Science.
