INTRODUCTION In earlier chapters the concepts of feedback and feedback systems have been emphasized. Since a system with a given transfer function can be synthesized in either an open-loop or a closed-loop configuration, a closed-loop (feedback) configuration must have some desirable properties which an open-loop configuration does not have.
