Prof. C. Sujatha is with the Machine Design Section, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Chennai, India. She obtained her BSc (Engg.) from Kerala University, and both M.S. (Electrical Engineering) and PhD (Applied Mechanics) from IIT Madras. She has more than 25 years of experience in teaching, research and consultancy in the areas of machine dynamics, vehicular vibration, acoustics, instrumentation and signal analysis machinery condition monitoring, etc. She is credited with around 100 publications in journals and proceedings of conferences and has guided 7 Ph.D. scholars. She has coordinated a large number of consultancy and sponsored research projects.
