1010601 Introduction to VLSI Switched-Current Circuit TechniquesVLSI switched-capacitor circuits suffer from several fundamental design constraints such as requiring high-gain OPAMP or OTA circuits and linear capacitors. Such constraints make them difficult to be implemented in certain VLSI process technologies that do not offer these circuit structures. VLSI switched-current (SI) circuits were developed as an alternative discrete-time (DT) signal processing circuits that can be directly realized using the fully digital VLSI process technologies.
