Review Problems 8.1. A pressure transducer is used with a 0.92 mm ID × 100-cm long catheter, and the transducer has a volume modulus of elasticity, E = 0.40 × 1015 N/m5. The system has a damping ratio of approximately 30% of critical when filled with an unknown fluid (use ρ = 1000 kg/m3). Used values of cu = 1.1 and cv = 1.6. Find the natural frequency of the transducer/catheter system.
