Filtration Fraction
Filtration FractionThe portion of plasma that filters through the glomerular membrane is known as filtration fraction. To calculate the filtration fraction, divide the GFR by the RPF.The filtration fraction (FF) for the previous examples is: FF=GFR/RPF=136mL/min780mL/min=0.17
