When you look around, everyone you see looks angry or depressed. You hear cynical comments and caustic laughter coming from the lunchroom. Cubicles sport posters that say, "You obviously have mistaken me for someone who cares." People are out "sick" in epidemic proportions. People get to work late and leave early.
