Concepts of Corporate Finance
Concepts of Corporate FinanceCorporate finance is best described as the discipline of economics and management that has the objective of maximizing the value of the firm [1, 2]. Corporate finance deals with the management of the money that flows in and out the firm rather than with manufacturing, operations, marketing, health and safety, logistics, but has a direct, prominent impact on all the value chain of the firm itself (Fig. 6.1). No firm can live without some form of proper corporate financial management.
