PrefaceOrganic electronics, i.e., the field of (opto)electronic devices utilizing organic active layers, has been growing rapidly over the last two decades. Examples of intensive ongoing research and development areas include organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), organic field-effect transistors (OFETs), and organic photovoltaics (OPVs).
