1011302Origin of LifeThe cosmos, which comprises all the material of reality, may have originated from 10 to 20 billion years ago. Our particular portion of the cosmos is the universe known as the Milky Way. A universe is an island comprising millions of stars, although the term universe is sometimes loosely applied to the entire cosmos.
